  Color rojo granatoso oscuro, ribete rojizo oscuro, capa alta y fina lágrima tintada. Notable intensidad en nariz con unos recuerdos iniciales de carne fresca con pimienta roja, fruta madura con ciruela roja y frambuesas maduras que producen ligeras sensaciones dulzonas muy persistentens, notas cremosas que resultan de los tostados finos y suaves, mentolado suave, recuerdos de hierbas del monte con predominio del tomillo seco, cueros viejos húmedos, monte bajo húmedo (musgo) y suave fondo de caramelo líquido. Muy buena entrada en boca con una marcada astringencia que romper instantáneamente con la primera sensación producida en nariz en el que predominan los registros aromáticos muy finos y suaves, notable acidez, tostados marcados y taninos rugosos, fruta madura con toques de cassis y moras carnosas, especias en grano, canela seca, con músculo y garra, amplio y estructurado, buena potencia que se perdura en su largo final. Postgusto de fruta madura y retronasal ahumado y especiado.

  Inky dark and purple-tinged. First whiff from the glass was of a blend of sweet raisiny fruit and oak. Heavy on the palette, with a bitter licorice finish. Very modern and frankly too ripe and extracted for me. 87
  
  Day 2 - Sweetness of the palette still dominuates, but smoother and a little more mellow in general. Less bitter on the finish but now has an overt candied taste to it.
