Second time around this feels a lot better. Well, a long sea voyage can definitely wear a wine out (if that's the case here). Still delivering nothing spectacular by any means, but now the wine manages to come across as a perfectly harmless quaffer.

Red berries, cherries, some clove-like spice and on the slightly unclean nose. Light to medium bodied palate with a touch of tannin and a good deal of acidity. Herbs, lingonberries and stone fruits. Something rubbery and annoying as well. Mid-length. I like the fact that this cheap Pinot is rather light and acidity-driven - but it just isn't that clean or pleasent. Quite awkward in fact.

Light red; nose vanilla, oak, fresh, wine leaf, liquorice; taste medium, a bit acid, nice darker pinot noir. Really like the nose...
