(Brasa, Seattle) Smelled, felted and tasted more Grenache-like than Tempranillo. Soft oak notes provided a nice spice. Solid dark fruits with tobacco and anise notes. Got very flabby over time as a lack of acids couldn't hold this together. Not my style of Rioja.

Lots of wood, but in the familiar, old style Rioja. Enough fruit and acid to carry it through. Quite nice with flank steak and farro salad.
