WLTV Tribeca Grill Offline 5.24.10 (Tribeca Grill NYC): Garnet colored in the glass with a little bit of sediment. Interesting nose of florals, tar, olives and mint. Red fruit and baking spice on the palate. High tannin and acid. I left some in the glass and came back to it and it seemed to start opening up more. I prefer my nebbiolo at the point where it shows both primary and secondary characteristics, so I think this is probably drinking as well as it ever will right now.

(at Napoli – Zurich) Super wine. Ruby / rose color with the slightest touch of amber. Rubber and rose dominates the explosive nose. This was really fine – penetrating flavors not at all heavy but certainly full. Finish was very fine. Very impressive. Super value. (93)

Probably has nice potential, but still quite young. The alcohol is too dominant, though I suspect will get more balanced with time. Still nice.
