  Pours a ruddy, dark scarlet.
  
  Vegetal on the nose, with fall leaves and leather dominating. Christmas spice and ethenol in the background. Not very fruit forward at all.
  
  Palate plays host to varied levels of oak. Black currant, dried fruit and pepper play a supporting role. Acid, tannins, and sweetness are well balanced.
  
  The finish is tannic, and musky but short.
  
  Overall, a nice, focused wine drinking well now. An approachable representative of Barbera.

  Barberan har nu mognat till en härligt pepprig palett. Mogen och vid denna tidpunkt på sin topp.
