  This is still very good. Mostly raspberry, with a lot of baking spices. Still has life, but in a really good spot.

  On first sniff, it's as if you're diving head-first into a huge vat of very dry, but rich black-raspberry jam. Oh, depth! This is a wine with heft, but not so over-the-top as when I first tasted it 3 years ago. Just lovely. Perhaps some zin drinkers could be miffed at the largesse, however I find it balanced, and was a great pairing with juicy lamb-burgers.

  Fantastic. This was the best Zin from a tasting a year ago and it is drinking well. Big fruit, and well balanced. The is a bit of heat here, but not overbearing.
