  Pop and pour at El Ideas. Would have guessed this was at least 10 years younger based on color and nose. Drinking beautifully but nowhere near the end of its life.

  Mid ruby tending to full garnet. Rich nose, dark red fruit, mulberry and damson with a meatiness and almost, but not quite, touch of soy. Properly GC weight and densely velvety texture, opulent and plush without being de trop. Very full and satisfying, though perhaps not overly complex. Cosseting. ****

  Slightly darker colour than the clavelier combe d’orveaux served alongside. Sweet fruit, red and purple and very in your face. Supple through the finish. Cool fruit profile. Voluptuous, rich and forward.

  Very accessible with dominant floral perfume, dark red fruit, jungle berries, vanilla, woody, classic with delineated fruit aromatics. Very good. 93
