  • Color cereza picota, ribete granatoso, capa media tirando a alta y gruesa lágrima poco tintada.

  • Looks to me the wine is in the best period. At least this bottle tasted much better than the other two I had in the past months.
Round & silky classic rioja, but w/o the strong wood that sometimes cover everything else. In this Reserva was "just right" for my taste.
Medium body with long finish. Poured in a decanter and served at 15°C with some grilled lamb...a perfect match.

  • Big, complex aromas of black fruits, garrigue, mint, leather, some red fruits and chocolatey oak. Wonderful medium to full bodied palate with lovely fruit, excellent density, a wad of oak, great acidity and very good length with slightly rustic tannin. Needs keeping 2-4 years.

  • brilliant wine with at another year or two before entering drinking window. pure dark fruits up front, with a tight spine of tannin (not aggressive - very fine) and classic rioja leather/spice/tobacco. loved it and wish i had more.
