Color: dark purple. Taste: cherries and blackberries, some chocolate and smoke, with that typical Chilean cabernet sauvignon taste. Good concentration, but a bit harsh. A bit complexity and a bit of depth. Medium to full bodied, short to medium finish. Acidity was OK. With 14,5% to much alcohol for me. Good wine, that matched well with wood-pigeon. Compared to two years ago this has not developed further and the harshness didn’t disappear. I doubt whether that will ever be the case. 88.
This has improved immensely since last year. A little time in the bottle has eliminated the green/bell pepper streak, and it is now smooth cassis and leather. Really lovely right now, and 2 nights later it was still strong. I'm looking forward to opening my last bottle next year.
