Older Barolo has been cellared for the last 15+ years. TAsted nicely matured, not over the hill, probably could sit a bit longer. Color - nicely aged brick red - almost Tawny Bouquet - initially freshly opened - must smell, then dissipated Taste; still a lot of tannin Some sediment

Very amaretto color to the rim. Smells fairly sherried and out of joint. Smooth and very soft. But is it really a 1998? I would assume this is a bad bottle.

Nice flowers, tar and fully evolved, which seems odd for a 1998 to me.
