  from memory: cork was looking pretty rough, but maintained a tight seal. for the age was hoping this wine would have more complexity and layers, but it was relatively straight-forward and linear. tasted nicely, just nothing that remarkable. color light ruby, a bit cloudy; nose was fragrant/deep, soft red fruit; med-light bodied; palate had tart cherry syrup, cranberry, fresh florals; dried herbs; smooth integrated tannins with soft grip.

  This needs to be upright for a day or more and carefully decanted because of considerable sediment. Nice nose upon P&P which became more fruity after being decanted for 30 minutes. Very nice on the palate.
