14.1% Not opaque, but a dark purple/ruby color. Pepper, coffee and floral aromas on the nose lead to rough oak, coffee and covert plum/grape on the palate, hard tannin's come through on the oak and grape laced finish. Tastes and smells like syrah, but a bit rough around the edges, and a real teeth stainer. $15
