  • Distinct vanilla notes on the nose; black fruits on the palate. A bit jammy at start but 2 hrs later the sweet flavours have given way to a finely balanced wine with blackberry - almost red berry notes mixed with a bit of oak/woodiness and silky tannins. Drinking beautifully paired with bbq lamb. Muy Bueno!

  • Vermelho grená, demonstrando toda a evolução do vinho.

  • Drank together with fscov (this was his bottle) after consuming a 2014 Cono Sur 20 Barrels Cabernet Sauvignon. This Malbec was the better wine, especially because it was a perfect match for the barbecue we were enjoying at that time, and because it has already reached its drinking window, having developed some tertiary flavors absent in the Cab Sauv.

I found mostly notes of blackberry and some currant, leather, coffee and some tobacco and vanilla probably derived form the oak used. It had velvety tannins and great balance, being a delight to drink. It was also a much more intense wine one the palate than the Cab Sauv we drank, but with a shorter finish 92-93pts and very good, but not a terrific value.
