With time, luscious expressive dark florals, sweet leather, soft berries, raspberry jam. Development certainly showing, but nothing off - if anything, even more interesting and so much more together than my last tasting note 9 years ago. Palate shows sweetness, light incense, white florals (ylangylang). Certainly a textural focus here, with concentration yet elegance. Finishes long, sweet, hint smoke and mossy forest floor. Wet woods, but really clean and classy. What a lovely drop, enjoyed with good development. Yums! Drank with Kam's duck.

Big, dense wall of brooding, sulky, complex aroma. Smokey sour cherry and raspberry, sweat, aniseed. There’s a top note tending to orange peel, but not overt.
Medium bodied, yet lacking some pinosity on the palate; more “red wine”. It’s full of dark fruited flavour however and is enjoyable to drink. Resolved tannins.

Popped and poured. Twist top doing its job. Nice stuff here , all pinot all the time. Maybe a little tired but certainly still a mouthful. After being in the glass for 30 mins , there were some dried purple fruits on the backend .No reason to wait if you have bottles of this wine, can't imagine it gets any better.

Felton Road Pinot Noir consistently offers a Burgundian style across the range, they even fool Burgundy drinkers in blind tastings occasionally. Lovely nose. Slightly cloudy (unfiltered?). This bottle showed more tertiary character than the previous bottle. Smokey mixed berries, gamey note. Good oak spices and gentle lifted stems. Drink up. (80/100)
