  Excellent Barolo, all of the notes of old leather, tobacco, etc. that the professional reviewers mention, but just plain great with a pasta and Bolognese sauce. Still has several years left. My last bottle, wish I had (several) more.

  Decant for two hours. Still drinking well. Coffee tar some floral notes. Dark fruit. Tannins are there but rounded. Some complexity. Overall very enjoyable

  Dark, inky, high toned nose (almost a touch of VA) with noticeable oak. Juicy and sexy, showing just a tad of development. A bit mixed on this.

  This is a good bottle. Complex truffle, earthiness and red fruit. Cedary as it opens counterbalanced by well judged acidity, palpable tannin and length. Best showing yet. Will be wonderful in another 5 years.

  This has improved. Fabulous cedary, cherry and plum. Tangy acidity with great structure and balance. Good to go. Outstanding.
