Another excellent example of a high quality Kabinett offering from Andreas Adam. Again, this is not your typical Mosel Kab...wonderful richness and viscosity, that is still able to maintain a trocken profile.
This wine should have a long life ahead of it. Slight preference towards the 2011 and 2012 vintage.

(A.J. Adam Dhron Hofberg Riesling Kabinett) ($34.00) This has the purest fragrance of old-school Mosel Riesling. It’s why we love it with a heart almost childlike, one we hardly know we own. This is sleeker than most recent vintages – a “mere” 87° with 10.8g acidity, which is not unnoticeable, but the slightly arch charm is beautiful for its angularity, and the wine shows absurd length.
