  • Purchased at the winery almost 13 years ago and laid down ever since. While certainly this is probably on the downside of its peak, if not slightly past, it was a great bottle. Decanted to 30 minutes, it was smooth and silky. The nose was muted but balanced with dark red fruits and a touch of leather and oak. There was a rustic quality to the nose but with a refined edge. It was incredibly smooth with soft tannins and light acidity. Overall, a really nice wine that was been laid down for almost 17 years and didn't disappoint.

  • What a pleasant surprise. Cab, Syrah, Merlot blend still had tons of fruit, smooth tannins and a lingering finish.
