  This vintage is the purest, most transparent JJ Confuron beaux monts tasted in a while with more red fruits mixed with a loamy/limestone streak on the nose that comes through even amongst the heavier oak influence. There is real elegance to the '10 with roses, Asian spice, Chili and dried cherry and currant flavors that are more lifted and classic. needs time, of course but there is energy to this vintage that makes this compelling. A bit oaky, still. 92(+?).

  Light intense ruby red colour.
  
  Quite intense and earthy in the nose with aroma's of strawberry, spices, leather, humus and liquorice.
  
  Intense start with high, but balanced acidity on the palate. No noticable tannins.
  Aroma's of strawberry, cherries, currant, spices, chocolate, leather and tobacco.
  Exceptional long finish of 20 caudalie!
  
  For me, this is one of the better Burgundy's I have tasted so far.
  Intense, an abundance of flavors and a long finish.
  The acidity brings some liveliness and some positive tension in the wine. Absolutely top.
  
  Sad this was my last bottle :-(
