Ruby color, dark intense fruit on the nose and on the palate, cherries and other dark berries, blackberry, black currant, mint, powerful (a true "heavyweighter"), balanced perfect to drink now and will likely improve even more by ageing

80% Cab Sauv./10% Cab Franc/10% Merlot. Big and dark with red/black cherry and blackberry fruit. Nice texture of cedar, leather, cigar box, and black licorice. At 12 years of age, tannins have softened a bit at this point but still has a long finish. Good drinking window right now, wouldn't wait too many more years on it.

Still going strong - tannins have given way to super velvety and layered cab. Classic Behrens effort right here. Not going to get any better than this. Drink up!

Sorry to say that I think this may be past it's prime. Based on others notes, I had kept this laid for couple years since last review. Yep, probably missed by year of so. Although still enjoyable, it has taken on that over age weightiness (much like myself). Still, some complexity exists and fruit is noticeable but subdued. Slightly sweet yet quite dry. Missing flavors of earlier reviews. Don't think it improves. After an hour or so, wine took on nuances and improved.

Pop and Pour 2 hours later. Another great experience from a relatively inexpensive bottle. I wish I had more but I’m out!
