Coravin taste was concentrated but closed and quite tannic. A brisk “Mollydooker shake” of the remaining wine (in lieu of a decant) really improved the bottle. A complex and expressive nose was followed by lush flavors of cherry, espresso, cassis, tobacco, spice and. touch of coffee and chocolate on the lengthy finish.
We had this solo but would have also been good with lamb, beef or maybe chicken.
Drink with a decant (or a vigorous shake) or hold for further improvement.

Opens up quickly revealing scents of green tobacco, forest and cherries, big and balanced, the palate showcases flavors of anise, cigar, blackberry and vanilla, drinking well, elegant and classy, deep and complex, overall superb, had with bbq ribeye

A bit disjointed right now with a little bitterness on the finish. Hold.

PNP - complex flavors. Well developed. In window now, but still fresh.

Rich black plum and blackberry. Bitter mocha and the oak still sticks out. It’s soft and rich but let’s call it as it is. The acid is dead
