Very simple flavor of papaya/melon with a little stoniness. Low acid and very drinkable, but not quite sure the simplicity warrants the relatively high price.

I prefer this style of wine over the typical heavily oaked, buttery Cal chard; however, agree that the price may be a bit high.

Nice bottle. Just a touch of Oak. Nice melon flavors. Ample acidity. Stone on the nose. Glad I have more, and I will buy more.

Vanguard (Columbus, OH): Less acid, still pear, delicious. Simple-ish. Caramel. $45
