Opened a magnum with lots of floral Zinfandel notes, black cherry fruit, touch of red cherry and saddle leather, same on the palate, big body, very tasty, rich and mouth filling fruit, almost elegant, wish I owned more of this Zinfandel, and a long, fruity finish.

Plum, plumskin, eucalyptus, mahogany, christmas cake, cardamom, and star anise. Light to medium bodied with some sucrosite. This old boy has some life left. Dry finish as the tannins come in at the end. Doesn't feel pushed at all. Give it some air time to show its best.

Medium red. Ripe, quite oak-laden nose with prune, smoke, tar, vanilla. Low tannin, low acid. Mouth-coating texture and fat. Ripe, simple flavors and something that went well with a cheese plate after dinner. Finally, the wine that intrigued us on release has reached an enjoyable stage again. Bottle #8 of twelve.
