  light ruby body, faint orange rim, in the color. dried fruit, cherry, on the nose. spice, sweet, chocolate, earth, on the palate. medium plus acid, low tannins, on the finish.

  Gorgeous ruby red to the edge. Beautiful deep nose of cherries and underbrush. The palate follows through with dried tart cherries with really good structure of acid and tannin for balance. This appears to be all or mostly sangiovese without being plumped up with international varietals. This is a classic CCR beauty at peak but should last a few more years.
