I think this showed more complexity than previously. Sweetness is not excessive and this has a very nice freshness on the palate, which comes almost unexpected after the nose of dried figs. Very nice.

The dried fruit, oxidative notes on the nose were stronger than I remembered. Also, this bottle was more on the sweet side and with slightly less acidity than I would have liked.

Amber color, hazy. Mainly dried figs on the nose, spicy, airy. Sweet, but not overly sweet, nice acidity, well balanced, light-footed. A different, but very fine dessert wine.

Dark amber colour and quite hazy. Very special nose, with prominent and very clean dried figs, then dried apricots and walnut. The palate is quite sweet but at the same time very fresh: delicious! A very special wine, obtained following the traditional procedure for making "vin santo": grapes are harvested as soon as they reach ripeness and are then let dry in the cellar. After fermentation the wine is elevated in oak on the lees of the previous vintage. The outcome, however, is quite different from the "vin santo".

Drunk accompanying dessert with friends. No TN.
Enjoyed it as usual. Impressions unchanged w.r.t. last time.
Quite fine.
