Slow ox'd for a few hours before serving. Dark ruby red, transparent all the way. The nose is a combination of black and red fruit with cloves and other spices. Full bodied Pinot, this is a blast of black (bing) cherry and strawberry on the palate. Maybe a bit fruitier than other 2008 offerings from Oregon, but certainly open for business right now. Medium, but present acidity and more spice notes accentuate the long, tannic finish.
Quite balanced and one of the unique 2008 wines ready to drink now.
