  • This wine is pretty profound. On first opening it seemed a bit tired. Nice fruit but not much body. Had a fairly strong secondary flavors of stewed fruit, etc. But after about 90 minutes it opened up. Beautiful spice, nice length, a great blend of secondary and primary flavors. Lovely length. Great complexity. A very sexy wine. Really fine Burgundy. Very much Chambolle. Grand Cru quality IMHO. No reason to wait any longer with this wine. If you have it I think you should drink up.
