Good wine, but I probably let this sit around too long. The wood tannins have taken over as the fruit has faded. Still has a dark fruit profile with medium acidity and notes of tobacco, green bell pepper and pine needles. Drink it up though.
A very straight Cabernet Sauvignon. Nothing spectacular, but very reliable. Fruity in the nose, a tad "sweet" on the palate, medium finish. Good value for money. Almost the kind of classic CS that you miss in Europe these days.

(Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon) #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-huge nose; burnt rubber meets cherry pie; a little cranberry action; a little sweetness; bigger & bolder; a little Bordeaux like with some a little nuanced earthiness mixed in; PALATE-the Oak Monster makes an appearance; this is over oaked for my palate; dry; the oak is considerable with the creaminess on the back-end and it really over takes the blackberry and mulberry flavors; not my cup of tea, but many who like Oak would like this wine; but this can easily be replicated for $8 bones; WS-89; GV-79
