For whatever reason this just seemed like the perfect deck wine tonight. Not overly sweet, with good acidity and vibrant pineapple and peach fruit. There's some interesting stuff happening on the midpalate, and the finish is long and enjoyable. Really an excellent qpr.

Discovering Wine: Pale straw and medium bodied, with slight effervescence. The Chateau Ste. Michelle Cold Creek Vineyard Riesling has a nose of pineapple, pear, and faint note of diesel. Crisp in the mouth, with tastes of green apple, pineapple. Very slightly off-dry and nicely balanced, finishing with more green apple and pineapple.

Pale straw color, with notes of Meyer lemon, pineapple, and jasmine, with a vaguely metallic finish and crisp acidity. Terrific QPR.

Pear and pineapple on the nose, dry with a touch of sweetness that tricks your mouth into thinking it's aout to pucker you up.
