  • Such a beautiful and delicate wine. Remembering how it first tasted and then did unfold makes me think of Hanami, the cherryflowers holiday. Like the perfect moment of the beauty of the flower is right before it falls of he tree or maybe the moments it really desecends. Despite the 17 years and that it has dwelled now in the uncorked bottle for several hours, then finally opened up and hit its peak the next day we drank it. Fragile, light, rosepedals, very subtle fruit like strawberry and plum with a enchanting earthyness to it. I was really surpised because it was my first bottle by Abel Mendoza Monge. Fantastic effort and a real pleasure.
