Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; Cornas vs St. Joseph (@ RW): Lead pencil, cedar, cigar box, cinnamon and animals in the bouquet. On the palate juicy red and dark berries, oak, blood and minerals. Classical and beautiful, mature wine with still enough power for a few more years of cellaring.

@Peter with T (Charlottenlund): I have had mixed experiences with this cuvée, but this one - from a somewhat weaker vintage - shows full maturity and great typicity with both iodine and blood; the Michel wines are less nervoux and broader than Clapes wine, this one is no exeption, but a very nice glass it is.

Ruby color, clear. Impressive nose of vena berry fruit, spice, cedar and holiday spice. Touch of earthy brush. Palate was very balanced and still showing acid. More refined red fruit, earth, tar and garrigue. Nicely made wine.

Drinking perfectly, and a great match for the lamb curry. Dark fruits and spice.

Impressive! Beautiful red color. Cherries, black berries, wood, peber, leather, marzipan, acetone... Drink now.
