Reasonably good with enough air time, showing spice, earth, gutsy fruit flavors, decent depth for its level. Continues to develop over a couple of days after opening. Good enough wine, but lacks the elegance I like.

Almost totally closed nose. With vigorous swirling can coax some fainty cherry aromas out of it. This is really beautiful on the palate though, deep cherry flavors, earth, and some spice. Silky smooth tannins and deep flavor, although it does lack some complexity. Excellent for $22.

Very nice, and and an excellent value in a 2009 Burg. Could use another year or two sideways, but certainly can enjoy now.
