Olivier Leflaive Dinner with Jean Soubeyrand (Chez Patrick Restaurant, 2/F, Garden East, 222 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong): Light silver-green gold colour more remniscienct of a stainless-steel fermented Sauvignon Blanc. Nice lifted nose - lighter than your usual Montagny.....mineral. Palate is steely and precise. Punches well above its weight......lightness and finesse. Some length. Very pleasing. A great start to the evening because it epitomises the precision and cleanliness of the Leflaive house style.

Lovely, fresh, medium body, balanced; drink now on the fruit.
