This bottle, to me, seems to have turned for the worse; however for a second opinion I shared the second half with a co-worker that liked it. Perhaps the additional open time? Dunno.

Similar to last time - a bit oxidized, but less than the last bottle. Raisin is not ideal in aged PN, but this still did pretty well despite those notes.

Translucent cherry red, just the barest touch of bricking. Frankly, looks younger than nine years from vintage. Sweet cherry and strawberry with a touch of baking spices on the nose, the palate is smooth and quite herbal. There is good complexity, good supporting acidity, and reasonable length. This is quite good. Frankly better than expected.

I love young Kendric, but this older vintage has oxidized and turned into something odd: caramelly and raisiny.
