2011 Casual Session - 9 @ ES (Extra Space Boon Keng): Alcohol :: 12% PnP. Served with Riedel O Burgundy. Small moose, quite deep in color. Aromas toward white fruits and lots of green and dried herbs, touch of white floral too. Very unique which I can't really pin point what was the varietal in this Champagne, I thought it was Pinot Noir and Chardonnay blend, no Pinot Munier. Well, I was totally wrong. Very high acid with mineral that hit you at the entry, when you looking forward to the mid palate impression, the flavors disappear, leave you with a lonely hollow feel. Like my friend described: donut. Finish is quite vegetal too. Not really enjoy this, at least for me. Buy - No.

A little sweet on the entry, a little sour on the finish. Very flabby. Not enjoyable at all, Perhaps needs to be served very chilled.
