Très beau vin, sur son plateau de maturité. La couleur est d'un bel or soutenu, le nez peu causant, et la bouche surprend par un côté très dense, compact. On n'est pas du tout sur les marqueurs du chenin, c'est très mûr, fruits jaunes, la veine acide est très discrète, complètement intégrée, le vin est rond mais aucune sensation sucrée n'est manifeste. Une belle bouteille, que je n'aurais jamais placée en Loire.

Still very much alive. Not the most complex Chenin Blanc but very solid. Waxy peach and apricot. Moderate acidity. Very enjoyable but probably not getting better from here.

Peach, nectarine and apricot laced with chalk. Finishes with well integrated acidity. Medium body with a nice polished texture. May not get better but certainly doesn't seem to be the down slope either.

Long, long legs. Just a touch of residual sweetness on top of a mostly dry wine with intense, somewhat voluptuous Chenin fruit. The vintage comes through in a ripe, forward, attractive wine at this point. Delicious.
