Legends Dinner at La Paulee de San Francisco (Napa Valley Reserve - St. Helena CA): Intense floral start with mint, spice with poached pear aromas and oak hints. Palate of intensely ripe orchard fruit, peach hints and big spice. Very exotic throughout with a lush, rip and spicy finish. Great contrast with its 2000 counterpart tasted alongside, with each perfectly showcasing what the vintage enabled.

Can't go wrong with this Montrachet. Very strong on the palate and stays from first sip to last. Excellent poolside with fine Italian and French cheese. Could drink this everyday for the rest of my life! Did not decant, could use 2hrs but still enjoyed, can only imagine what more time will do.
