Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • As expected, this wine is much different than a cab sauv you'd find in California. At first pour I noticed the color is a deep red, orange near the meniscus. Have you even had chili-chocolate from Central America? The aroma reminds me of that chocolate. Other aromas include pasilla pepper, cassis and menthol. Aromas carry to the palate. On the lower side of medium acidity. Tannins are very fine and also on the lower side of medium. This wine tells a story of it's home; it's different but I like it's uniqueness.
