Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 89.8 points

  • Appearance: Clear, medium minus lemon color with legs
Nose: Clean, developing and medium intensity aroma of lemon, pear, honey, nut, butter, white flowers and oak.
Palate: Dry, with medium minus acidity and medium alcohol level. Medium plus body, with medium intensity flavor of oak, pear, honey, butter, lemon and cream. Lively, with good balance and a creamy texture. Refreshing ripeness, expressive freshness and harmonious, with a medium length finish.
Conclusion: This wine is assessed to be good in quality because it is relatively complex in aroma and flavor, but it is not very concentrated and the finish is not long. This wine is ready to drink now but will not improve, and can keep for another 2-3 years.

  • Pale gold in colour, classic nose, pain grillé; fresh, elegant, concentrated, good length. Could do with more complexity on the finish, but certainly has more substance and balance than many 2003 white Burgundies. Forward and soft. Very good indeed. Drinking well now – 2010+
