restrained fruit compared to other priorats, but fruit's there. after a few hours, graphite-like minerality became predominant. matched well with pates and charcuterie. much more gentle than i had expected, but still quite nice.
Very dark mauve in colour, although still transparent. Dark fruit, meat and herbs on the nose. Medium bodied, fresh palate, intensely flavoured but not at all heavy. Really well balanced, has a touch of anise, grippy tannins. Finishes very long and clean. Exceded expectations.
Big and simple, but not big in unholy big way. Balanced and very palatable with good piece of beef. If you have patience to wait a couple years just to see if this wine will get to be fantastic like 2000 Finca Dofi became in 2012 - go for it!
