Vinho violáceo intenso. Brilhoso. Lágrimas abundantes e persistentes. Nariz (intensidade média) de frutas negras maduras e sobremaduras (ameixas, cerejas e mirtilos). Jasmim seco, couro e tabaco aparecem em nuances. Notas mentoladas. Em boca a cobertura é plena, elegante e muito aveludada. Intensidade média, álcool e taninos moderados e integrados. Mesmo perfil de aromas. Retrogosto muito agradável e de longa persistência. Um grande vinho. Alma argentina, caráter francês.

Dark ruby/maroon. Aromas and flavors run the gamut from cherries, currants, walnut shell, and graphite, to nail polish, chocolate, caraway, and red pepper spice. Mid-bodied, juicy, tart, and savory, with granite-like minerality, precise acidity, obvious oak, and a pleasant umami finish. Could use a little more bottle age to integrate the oak.

A genuine expression of cab-dominated Bordeaux styled wine, but nothing inspiring. The best way to describe the appearance is that of the color of Dimetapp. Fortunately, the wine is not so syrupy (!), but the oak is too dominant and the finish too short. A respectable effort, just not quite to where it would be noteworthy or memorable.
