Takes 4+ hours of air to open up, and even then shows it needs more time. On the last glass, the nose is fabulous with sweet earth and minerals. Plenty of acid, but it's never out of whack. Palate is a touch dilute, and is still stained by tannins. Meanwhile, the finish certainly brings one back for more. A very nice wine, which still has a ways to go. Just not worth the price I paid.

Good Wine with a Boring Super Bowl (Chez Kailin - Northbrook IL): Seemed stewed, quite possibly heat damaged.
