Excellent fill, medium ruby color. Gave it 2 hour decant. A really nice nose of red fruits, leather, truffle, and chocolate. It was easy to detect the Clos Fourtet typicity. Some alcohol sensed on the nose. Nose was better than the palate, but it still had some finesse. Lacked a bit in the mid-palate. Medium length finish. Low acidity. However, it doesn't have the structure for long aging, but drinking well now. Would recommend drinking this soon.

Color: bricking on edges Nose: lovely mature nose of mushrooms and old cupboard Palate: light bodied and fully mature, drink up, lacking power and fruit of a fourtet from a good vintage but still good with a T-bone steak 91

Holding up beautifully. Plenty of rich, but supple, black fruit. Delicate floral and herbal notes, with a backbone of soft tannins and acidity. This was just the flavor profile I expect in a good Merlot-based wine. Didn't have any noticeable bret or other funk.

Cork in good condition, colour garnet fading a little to the edge. Decanted for 4 hours. Nose is cherries and a little sous-bois. Sour cherries on the palate, quite acidic, not much tannin left. Interesting leathery and damson notes start to come through in the after-taste. Very flavoury, a little hollow and stalky reflecting the year. Nice wine.

This has turnout into a great bottle of wine...its reached its full maturity,it has layers of dark fruit big velvety and sweet with hints of chocolate coffee barnyard and a very silky finish...it tastes like just an old school Saint Emilion Cru Classé can taste and the girls did love this bottle very much,so if you wanna score buy this...www.everyoneweb.com/chateaujochen
