Still very solid. No real development since last bottle. Has not really hit that "aged" white Burgundy style yet. Maintaining some freshness. Apple, subtle oak, citrus, banana and sweet spice. Nice acidity leading to solid finish.

Mid-Autumn Eve Dinner (Margaret & Kevin's House, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong): Viscous and deep yellow-gold colour. Nose is lovely sweaty new leather and melted butter, with yellow citrus fruits poking through....wow, it really opened up as the evening air warmed it up. Palate is an immediate mothfeel of warm buscksin with very well-delinated and balanced warm confit lemon, some sort of smoked white ham, super integrated oak, rich melted butter, toasted hazelnuts, toasted white bread, white nougat.....very complex. A smoky temple element emerges with extended time. Very weighty but nearly weightless.....really regal, elegant, restrained but so powerful. A very nice medium-toned resonance on the finish and a long medium tone reverberance inside the head. It has a super burnt hazelnuts aftertaste that lasts forever. This was really on song and a delightful way to begin the evening.

Blind White Throwdown (Roberts House, Philadelphia PA): tasted blind. young chardonnay profile, with substantial use of oak. lemon prominent -- this tastes like a watered down Aubert. finish builds and amplifies the flavor profile of clove, green apple, and a little smoke. touch of heat on the finish. thought this was a good CA Chardonnay. 92+

Blind White Throwdown (Our House (2033 Brandywine St., Philadelphia)): Blind white WOTN. Fresh nose. Oak, cream and vanilla. A hint of spice. A long time to still go with this wine. Apple, candied apple sprinkled with brown sugar. Mouthwatering. Lemon. A shade watery and a nip nip of heat on the finish hold this back a little bit.

Holding up very well. Rich and delicious, nice balance of butter and fruit. More like a California chard than I was expecting.
