A Dark Brooding wine. Deep Purple colored. Dark fruits & pencil shaving flavors with a long tannic finish. This would pair perfectly with grilled meats or BBQ.

APPEARANCE: Ruby red with watery edges. Very long legs AROMA: Loads of oak and a hint of spices TASTE: Disjointed tannins. A tad bit bitter, but not overwhelming. Not a lot of fruit present.

Beautiful nose of lavendar, black raspberry, violet, a bit of tar and a bit of spice. Palate is nimble with drenching black raspberry and finish of spice and asphalt. Really nice balance. I like the Columbia Winery style better than most it seems, but I'm sorry these well priced treasures from Red Willow are likely going away.

Nice but not very interesting flavors and a touch too much acid.
