  • Wineflock - Alsace Gewurztraminer (Bob & Ann's): Group 36, My #8 - Golden color. Medium candied peach nose with a touch of spicy heat. Big sweeter apple fruit, but a bit one-dimensional.

  • Bought and opened to take part in winodepot.com's, monthly Tasting With Friends. This month Board-O chose the wines of Alsace.
Upon opening, the nose was very subdued, and this never really changed throughout the night. What was there, were light fruit and floral notes. The first sip was wonderful, maybe made better by the fact that the nose didn't havie me anticipating very much. There were flavors of fresh citrus fruits, spice, apricot, apple and pear. The wine had a wonderful, creamy texture and a medium to long finish. Very nice. I picked up 2 more. 91+ pts.

  • Absolutely stunning! Golden topaz in color. Magnificant floral and honey nose. Viscous. Dreamy. On the palate, just the right balance of floral and fruit -- apricot, pear. Semi dry. Truly tastes like nectar. This is a wine that defies you to be anywhere else but the moment in which you are drinking it. Fabulous.
