2011 Austrian Catalog, 5/1/2011, (See more on Terry Theise Estate Selections...)

(Willi Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner "Kamptaler Terrassen") ($29.00) Back to reality after that freaky-stellar ’09. Not that “reality” is so shabby. Because this contains all the single-site Loiser Berg picked below 13% alcohol (too little of it to vinify alone, he said). As often in ’10, a superb aroma accenting more smoke and ore and less flowering-field, but it’s juicy and generous on the palate, and shows classic GrüVe pepper.
