Just a hint of petrol on the nose, legit golden color, wonderfully viscous as others have mentioned. Went beautifully with Thai food for dinner. Needed 30-45 minutes to really get open, and I'd definitely drink again.

Another fantastic bottle. I wish I had more. Serious viscosity for a Spatlese but pulls it off with ample acidity to balance. Fruit is in the topical spectrum. This should get better as it continues to shed baby fat.

Pours a medium gold, with a nose of peaches and a whiff of petrol.
Concentrated flavors of peach, lime, orange pith, and petrol. There's a lot of depth to the wine. A touch of spritz and a thick, creamy mouthfeel. On the sweet side for a Spatlese, could use a tad more acidity to balance out the sugar. Shows a lot of promise and should age for many years to come with room for upside.

Light and airy but densely packed with stone fruit and balanced by lively acidity. This wine is drinking extremely well right now and will continue to do so for many years. I need to seek out more.

(Müller-Catoir Mandelgarten Riesling Spätlese) ($50.00) An absurdly expressive and brilliant wine, yet also keenly searching and inscrutable; it hypnotizes your palate. As always the warm smoky hay, salts, buttery pan-cooked leeks; in a sense this is all there – but is it? The twitching hyper-dynamism and thick custardy finish suggests otherwise.

Lovely, well-integrated wine. Acidity is nearly gone, so probably time to drink up.
