Silky, showing a more spicy, oaky face this year, not as floral or expressive as e.g. the 2009, lovely fruit, seamless, heathery hint of malt whisky, very good length. Excellent winemaking, delicious wine.
Clear, pale lemon colour with dense tear. Clean medium intensity developing nose with delicate aromas of ripe apricots, orange peel, orange blossom, ripe pears and some minerality. Dry, medium refreshing acidity, medium integrated alcohol, full body with rich texture and mouthfeel, medium+ intensity flavours of orange peel, ripe apricots, white flowers and hints of nuts. Medium+ finish. Very well balanced, wide, with a long evolution in the mouth, showing elegance and delicacy. Can drink now, but has potential for further ageing.
Lovely pale gold colour. Fine, clean aromas of pear and quince with a mineral touch. Rich in the mouth and grows in terms of fruit concentration. Alcohol noticeable on mid palate with a slightly almond-liqueur finish.
