  • Diner O'Thym

91-92 pts

  • Iron, spice and gamey, earthy dark fruit. Lots of power hidden beneath a medium bodied frame. Tannins are approachable but overall this is a good 10 years from real maturity. Some clenching, tangy almost citric acidity on the backend makes me wonder if acid was added. Basically very good and fantastically complex on the nose, approachable but still wound up on the palate, and a bit disappointing on the finish.
