Friday Night Wines with Friends: Very enjoyable bottle. At age 9, it's beginning to show some secondary aromas and flavors, and it threw a bunch of sediment. Classically California Cab to me, maybe even a little bit "retro" in style. Cherry and semi sweet chocolate, dusty fine tannins. Good freshness and balance. Just a joy to drink, although it wasn't as intellectually stimulating as the Serre Nuove we drank right before this.

Full, deep Cab with smooth tanins and a long finish. I like Dave's wines. He is crazy, but he and his wine maker make great juice. If you haven't had his Chard... it is outstanding.

Getting to the last of it this is like an old friend! Still very nice and juicy for its age!

This bottle aged nicely. Sad that it's the last bottle. And, at the price of 10 years ago it was a great value.
